eChinese LLC., was established in the USA in 2011. We are a technology and educational company specializing in developing and distributing premium digital educational resources and online portal services for the teaching and learning of Mandarin Chinese as a second language.
eChineseWorld.com, our Teaching & Learning service portal, has been a premium portal for online Chinese educational resources and application services for 10 years. We provide language educators and learners with a multi-media learning community and comprehensive authentic ready-made materials for in-class teaching, as well as after school assignments for K-12 Chinese programs and AP Chinese Language and Culture program.
Our key programs are:
K-5 Chinese Immersion eClass is specially designed for Chinese immersion programs. It is developed according to ACTFL Language Proficiency Standards and Guidelines along with Common Core State Standards, and with reference to the Singapore Huanle Huoban Chinese elementary syllabus, words and vocabulary of the HSK Chinese Proficiency Test, to meet the challenges of Chinese immersion education. Both in-class as well as after-class materials are enriched with animated texts and interactive games to attract and interest learners with differentiated capabilities for the learning of Chinese language and culture.
eChinese Essential is a secondary level program that is specially designed for grade 6-12 students who are second language learners of Chinese not specifically oriented towards AP or IB. It is structured into six volumes, namely Novice I, Novice II, Intermediate I, Intermediate II, Advanced I and Advanced II.
eChinese Essential provides teachers with authentic teaching materials including PowerPoint presentations, exercises, and assessment sheets. It provides students with fun games and real-world projects as summative assessments to help students gain real language application skills in simulated situations. This program enhances students’ ability in the four language modalities of listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
eChinese Pre-AP and AP Chinese Language and Culture program is designed with 6 units (PreAP) and 12 units (AP) to cover six AP themes. We have adopted Grant Wiggins’s “Understanding by Design” curriculum design theory and integrated Dr. Robert Marzano’s “Highly Engaged Classroom” activities into our teaching pedagogy.
These two programs provide teachers with lesson plans, authentic teaching materials, exercises, and assessment sheets. It provides students with simulated AP Chinese exams. Students can intensively practice Chinese in three modes: Interpretive, Interpersonal and Presentational. In addition, students can develop their language skills in the ACTFL five goal areas: communication, cultures, connections, comparisons, and communities.
K-12 eChinese eReading is an online levelled reading platform designed for k-12 Chinese learners according to ACTFL’s proficiency guidance and AP/IB themes, and/or Common Core State Standards. It is a comprehensive collection of texts that provides Elementary Levelled eBooks, eFunland, Animated/Comic Reading, Secondary Social Studies Reading, and Secondary Levelled Readings, with Chinese culture and abridged Chinese classic literature integrated at all levels within the collection.
eChinese eReading is designed to engage students in an enjoyable and interesting atmosphere to increase students’ comprehension and fluency. Students may explore on their own, or teachers may assign texts or activities. This will help students become more proficient and confident readers of Chinese, ensuring their success in the Chinese classroom, and in their language acquisition in general.

K-5易 • 学堂沉浸式中文教材，根据ACTFL中文教学与美国各州社科标准，同时参考新加坡《欢乐伙伴》小学华文教学大纲，及汉语水平考试（HSK）分级字、词要求，以满足沉浸式中文教学的要求和需要。全套教材融合寓教于乐，因材施教的教学理念，多媒体、数码互动、目标驱动游戏元素，提高学生的学习兴趣与动力，提高自主学习的积极性。全套教材满足课堂教学与课后练习需要，内容文本除了提供拼音，还配有动画与配音朗读辅助。既方便老师多媒体有声辅助教学需要，也更好协助初学者学生有效学习，有助提高学生听、说能力，培养语感，达到事半功倍的学习效果。
易 • 中文课程，是一套中学程度线上课程，专门为中文作为第二语言学习者而设计编写的教材，适合6-12年级的传统中文项目的学生。课程包括六个级别：初级教材I，初级教材II，中级教材I，中级教材II， 高级教材I，高级教材II。
易 • 中文课程为教师提供根据真实题材编写的教学材料，内容包括 PowerPoint 演示、练习和测验。为学生提供有趣的学习方式，以生活实例作为相应单元的总结测评，帮助学生在模拟情境中获得实际的语言应用技能。学生通过“双向沟通、理解诠释、展示表达”三种模式练习中文，在“沟通、文化、联系、比较和社区”ACTFL五个外语学习目标领域培养语言技能。易 • 中文课程，全面提高学生“听、说、读、写”语言学习与应用能力。
PreAP大学预科中文语言与文化预备课程与AP大学预科中文语言与文化课程，两套课程分别根据AP六大主题编写，精心设计与编写。综合了美国中文教育的主流教材，针对AP机考的特点，结合先进的教学科技理念，而开发的一套教考合一的AP教学课程。课程采用了 Grant Wiggins 的重视理解的课程设计理论（UbD），并将 Robert Marzano 博士的高参与度活动理念融入教材的教学应用中。
两套课程分别为老师们提供了课程教案、根据生活题材编写的教材、以及单元同步的练习、活动和测验。为学生提供AP中文考试模拟练习与测验。学生可以通过“双向沟通、理解诠释、展示表达”三种模式练习中文，在ACTFL五个外语学习目标领域：沟通、文化、联系、比较和社区，培养语言学习与应用技能。
K-12易 • 阅读 在线分级阅读平台，根据ACTFL语言水平标准，针对沉浸式中文项目和中文作为第二外语的传统中文项目，编写的一套适合K-12中文教育的分级阅读体系。
